Malcolm
Saunders began racehorse training in a small way in 1992.
He is proud of the reputation he has gained and now enjoys
a good percentage of winners from the 12-16 horses he has in training.
Malcolm is always prepared to travel to the right race for a horse. Last
year this led to three Listed wins and a Group win.
Keeping his yard small, Malcolm is able to ensure that all horses and
owners get his personal attention, both during training and at race
meetings.
In
2005
he achieved 18 wins from 137 runs, with
13 seconds, 11 thirds and 17 fourths. A £1
stake on all runners would have yielded £19.38.
In 2006 Malcolm
achieved a Group win at Deauville, 3 listed wins
at Leopardstown, Bath and Pontefract, and listed places at Newmarket,
Nottingham and Maisons-Lafitte.
The Racing Post online has Malcolm's latest
statistics.
